Grammar mistakes?

[edit]

@Trulyy: How was I making a grammar mistake in reverting your edit? Even the article on Federal holidays in the United States uses a lowercase ‘h’ in its title. –Gluonz talk contribs 16:27, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Associated Press Stylebook has this entry for federal:
Use a capital letter for the architectural style and for corporate or governmental bodies or procedures that use the word as part of their formal names: Federal Express, Federal Holiday, the Federal Trade Commission. Trulyy (talk) 19:30, 5 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you think the title “Federal Holidays in the United States” would be more correct, I would suggest you start a move request at Talk:Federal holidays in the United States. However, unless that article gets moved, I would suggest maintaining consistency with its title across other articles. –Gluonz talk contribs 14:30, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Gluonz We should be consistent within this article as well. Seananony (talk) 16:19, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Should there be a section over arguments against the holiday’s celebration in america? It does celebrate the beginning of bloody imperialism and genocide to say the absolute least, after all 2603:6011:2800:5BB:9156:FA3A:1CF9:D187 (talk) 08:27, 21 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Myrealnamm (💬Let's talk · 📜My work) 21:02, 28 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
